While reading the previous books, I joked that these must have been written specifically to cater to my tastes in smut. At one point, I even jokingly wrote "do I dare hope for a pegging scene or nah" in my notes.

It bothers me more than I care to admit that the translation calls the Duke a prince instead.

This is too opaquely written for me right now. Too florid, too abstract, the text feels almost like it's full of itself, and I'm too annoyed right now to continue.

Might yet pick it back up, but for now, definitely a disappointment.
