Yeah, I think this is one of the most *evil* Evil Kings I've seen. He's a professional.

Hell yes, old lady wizards

Wahoooooo! Yippee!! The second I’m not on a plane I *will* be devouring this in an evening.

Ah, the third act breakup 🙂‍↕️

I'm staring very intently at my Netgalley requests page until my ARC request for the X-Men romance novel gets approved. I'm in the middle of moving, but if I rebuild my X-Men shrine and start praying to it, do you think they'll hand the book over faster?

I quite liked that one

Some light IV drip reading

My ARC expires in a day, so I have to speed run this real quick

Highfalutin seems an oddly informal word to use with how grand the tone of the writing has been thus far

I still can’t get over how the guy’s last name is mendacious. Sorry, “Myndacious”.

Realized that I only have about a month before I leave, so I actually need to get started on all these books on Wales I have lying around.

It’s always the demon in the bottle, isn’t it?

Tactical sluttery

Oh my

Always love a unique description of a truly hideous piece of clothing. That’s when a writer is having the most fun.

Guess who got an ARC!

Now we’ve got the classic British “what’s all this then?”

I kept mistaking this as a YA book, so the sex scene really caught me off guard

The cricket ☹️

You know, I thought that chapter title was a little suspect

😳

Oh thank god. It starts with a recap.

Aren’t we all having a cunt summer?

I started this collection many years ago now, but for some reason I never got around to finishing it, despite getting pretty close to the end. I want to actually get through it this time.

Wasn’t sure what to make of this at first, but it’s been pretty good so far. Not particularly sold on the romance aspect, but I like it as a step on Mira’s blossoming emotional journey.

Before you wonder at me reading 214 pages mere minutes after marking it on Goodreads, I have been working through it the past day or so and simply forgot to mark it on here

We are truly in the thick of the Shuri bald arc

It’s always secret twins
