okay it’s a getting better, still giving like Disney channel original movie intro but not horrible

idk man… it has ready over explained so much. The first 50 pages are very important to me in a romance and this is not giving me much hope

god why do I continue to read books by authors I know I don’t like. this book is not getting any better.

god I want to like Lizzy Dent so much but I think I just don’t like her writing style. It somehow both over explains so much and also leaves so much out. I feel like I’m playing catch up mid paragraph sometimes in some ways and then in others it feels like she doesn’t trust her readers at all to figure anything out

okay I was kind of on the fence about Abby Jimenez because I didn’t love the first two I read but I understand it now. I sat down and started reading this and haven’t stopped in like 3 hours. It’s so fucking good, it’s such a different kind of plot off a romance and I am loving it

first time listening to an audio with an explicit scene in it and it is a strange experience. Girl I don’t need you moaning in my ear while I’m in the car with my parents.

But so far i think the book is good even though i think the main character is maybe falling a little bit into that “im so quirky and funny” and the sex scene 2 chapters in definitely threw me for a loop

I’m listening to the audio book and I love having the full cast for an audio book. I also didn’t realize there were so many plot points that were different between the show and the book.

it’s giving middle schooler writing fan fiction but I do appreciate the attempt of a slow burn / tension building even if it’s bad

This was one of the first Emily Henry books I read and god I love it just like I did the first time. I can see the setting so clearly I feel like I’ve been there and god do I want to go back. I can’t wait to meet Gus again.

It’s giving em hem but The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. I love it.

Also I love any man written by Em Hem.

okay was not expecting a like spy book but I’m rocking with and maybe it’s the romance reader in me but I want her and Ryan to live happily ever after…

all I have to say is that Charlie has surpassed the levels of stupidity that are allowed for main characters and I am not liking

okay I absolutely love Riley Sager’s writing style and I am SPOOKED by this book! The flashbacks to Pine Cottage are crazy and make me want to shake them by the shoulders but it also just sounds like so much shit college kids WOULD do!!

hate Jeff more than before, hope he dies soon so I don’t have to read any more of him talking

Incredible writing, easily building a picture without feeling like descriptive fluff. Unsurprisingly, I already hate Jeff. Like dude please for the love of god shut the hell up. Love Sam, obviously.

This book is going to be a romcom version of a mystery novel that is also a hallmark movie but I am intrigued.

I’m very excited to get the end of this book, both because I want to know what happens and I also just don’t want to be reading it anymore.

I lowkey hate everyone in this book and don’t super care that any of them are dead but I’m interested to see what happens. This feels like a mixture to Knives Out and Clue but without any comedy.

Just got started and I like the way Alice Feeney writes, it’s giving like Knives out but not as funny and probably not as good. Will update.
