Okay so this book is actually way longer than I thought it was and the ebook chapters are weird I kind of hate it. It’s hard to know when you can stop because a section is over and the chapters are too long. I’m finding the content interesting but I’ll be reading this for a few months I think.

This is actually a better way to track bc this way I can leave "reviews" on each book (I have read these at least 10 times in my life). The first still holds up and my favourite chapter is still 23. The Angel. I’m also reminded that in the books their love is so much easier to understand. Comfort read for life I think.

Now that I’ve figured out how to get e-books for VERY CHEAP, I’m unstoppable! Yes I’ll binge a book series, easy peasy!

I need SJM to remember who she was when she wrote the first 3 bc I’m seeing a lot of lines and story arcs (or lack thereof) that are a bit too reminiscent of ACOTAR…

Okay we’re getting into traditional SJM territory where she has one motivation/thought for one character and won’t shut up about it re: Chaol being worried if Aelin will destroy everything if magic comes back. Like plz enough we know he’s worried about that you’re telling us too often

Honestly this book is a bit boring and I’m really not in the mood for it and there’s no way I finish it before my borrow time so I’ll maybe try it again later

Might DNF, it’s really slow and isn’t giving what the first one gave. I’m actually kind of irritated the direction it seems it’s going. Seems like it’s completely undoing everything from the first book. I’ll see how far I get between now and when it’s due back at the library

Good so far but not sure why it’s called The Hazel Wood and not The Hinterlands because they have yet to get to the hazel wood…

I only have 5 days left before I have to return the book and I have about 7 hours left which sounds easier than it is.

This book is way too long. It’s good so far! But I can’t believe I’m only 62% of the way through and I can’t even take a break bc I got it from the library and it would take me like 22 weeks to get it back if I don’t finish in time

It’s kind of annoying how Percy tells everyone everything right away and no one tells him anything.

First time she’s done something actually stupid and I’m seeing red. Why would you just lounge around the courtyard after stealing the journals? Go back to your warded room! Or give the book to your non-targeted friends! I’m angry 😡

okay this one definitely isn’t as exciting (so far) as the first and really missing Xaden’s whole thing but really liking the mystery that’s unfolding. What’s happening with the wards? What’s with the drink that weakens the dragon bond? Why is Varrish so evil to a point of being cool? Lots of questions to be answered
