My desperate attempt at getting out of the worst reading slump of my life. It got me back into reading all those years ago, after all.

Yeah so I didn't realize this was YA... She's 18 but this reads really young. I guess I'll finish it because what what am I going to do.

I hate it when there's no burn 😭 20% in and they've already kissed. Ugh.

OMG finally. I love this book. This is what I was looking for.

I'm tired of people lying to me. It's not yearning when both characters are so obviously in love but refuse to have a conversation about it. 😭

Kharon, you psycho. I freaking love you 😂

"A man was speaking, so I stopped listening". Preach, girl. Same. 😂

Do we like the Titans? Do we hate them? Were they actually the villains? What in the world is happening right now? Who knows. Stay tuned.

I'm obsessed with this? I can't tell you why, but I can't stop reading it.

It was 50° this morning. Cozy book fall is hereeee. Well, false fall, anyways. Idc. I've been dying for the weather to cooperate so I can start all my cozy books.

Time for me to break my own heart again

Nyx is a gem and she makes me laugh out loud frequently. Patro, I don't see how they could make me like you. Achilles, you're great. Augustus, you're not my favorite. Kharon, don't ever change, I love you.

Listen, I think this book is probably trash, but it's my trash and I'm deeply in love with it 😂

"A man was speaking, so I stopped listening." 😂 Same.

Listen, this book is probably objectively bad. But also, I love it. So. There's that. Lolol

Kipp is such a treasure. I'm so glad him and Cal are in this spin off series. They are the best comic relief duo.

Anson has a sixth sense. I know it's difficult for the reader to understand that, so I appreciate the author mentioning it literally in every chapter from his POV.

Someone send me a good book rec because I fear my winning streak is over 😭

I'm unsure how I've read so much of this book already? Fairyloot, you're doing great with the books this year. That said, I'm pretty sure we're in for a Tamlin/Rhysand type thing here and I'm unsure how I feel about that.

I'm hitting the jackpot on delicious slow burns lately. Love this for me.

I think this is the book that will put me into a slump. I can already tell I'm going to be sad leaving this world.

I honestly don't want to put this book down. But guys, I think the FMC thinks the MMC is sexy. Idk why I think that because she definitely doesn't think about it constantly. 😂😂 Still, nothing has happened yet so I appreciate the slow burn.

We're here for a good time. We want a dystopian novel resurgence. We do not expect a literary masterpiece. Please let this be good and not a let down. 😂

No no. No no no. Do not do what I think you're about to do.

When I say I want a slow burn, this is exactly what I mean. 326 pages and they haven't even kissed. The definition of a glacial burn and I'm so freaking here for it.

"I hope this story of female-rage, madness, and retribution cradles your shadows close and vindicates them. I hope you lock eyes with the abyss and embrace it."

If this book isn't my favorite of the year, I'm going to cry lol

224 pages in and the MCs have barley spoken a word to each other. I'm sat. I lovvveeee me a glacial burn enemies to lovers where they actually hate each other.

Reading with a mobile 9 month old is...a thing. I'll be honest. I don't really know what is going on, but I'm here for the vibes?

24% in and they've already kissed 😭😭😭 no burn whatsoever and I am sad.

Cool, cool. 20 pages in and I'm sobbing. I mean, I figured I would be, but still. 😂😭

Hi Luk. I know I'm happy married and you're fictional but... That's not a deal breaker, right?

I forgot every single thing about this book except for the ending 😅 Love that it feels like I'm reading it for the first time again, though!

It's tiiimmmeeeee. So ready for Onyx Storm.
