i started this in school and never finished it. 2026 is about either committing and finishing books or DNFing. i want to finish this but its hard to read when youre not forced to for class lol

i… really can’t with this. the writing is so poor and there is nooooo world building effort put into it. she’s only alive because of…. “luck”???? like bruh just kill her ? 😭it’s really not that hard. i’m gonna try to finish this tomorrow but i really can’t stand it

a girly at a coffee shop told me to read this and i can’t get over how many times she’s already said “with bated breath”

ugh i have a feeling this ending is gonna be brutal

i loooooving this. except maybe the misogyny and gross depiction of women and their “needs”

i love how many characters from his other Castle Rock books are here!! especially from The Dark Half

i am DNFing the poppy war trilogy. it is october… it’s spooky time!! i’m excited for this one

woweee Brit Parks is a phenomenal poet. i will be looking into works by her soon. now may i present a line that made me tear up:
“i don’t know you and miss you like you are my Father, I have a lot of dreams about Fathers, they are as fragile as my glass limbs”

this one is definitely fun and interesting to see Snow’s beginning and explanations for his behaviors in the main trilogy

i kind of misplaced and forgot about this book. but i’m ready to continue!!!!! i am also so glad im not in a cis straight relationship sometimes. women deserve better

this one has been alright. it’s interesting to see Snow starting his journey with the hunger games and give some more background to his behaviors in the main triology

im reading this slowly… but Two-Faced by Kayleigh Parle is amazing
