Okay damn i just talked shit about the author of still alice who has all these fancy degrees, but like i said what i said? As someone who has a lot of these symptoms it feels like how my mom would describe it (compassionately, but not quite right)

I'm not sold. To me it feels like someone who read the symptoms and is sprinkling in the information in the same wording as the mayo clinic website. I also think that the way she takes every behaviour to the extreme makes Maddy as a character have less depth, but I do understand where the author is coming from. Everything feels just a bit too cliche (almond mom, addictive relationship, father left them, etc.)

Sometime Hutch isn't capitalized. It's just hutch. What's up?
