Seeing these different characters is soooo interesting and fun, but what I’m loving even more is all the dragon personalities we’re getting. I feel like it’s a more well-rounded look into the Empyrean. Also I love the little nods to the main series and each characters’ signets. And the ART?? I’m being fed!! Sooo excited to continue.

There’s a not-so-distant universe where I grew up to be like Story, but thank God I didn’t.

That being said, she’s not as insufferable anymore. But sometimes she says things that make me roll my eyes.

The plot is pretty good. Wish it would move a little faster, but I love seeing Rome with the characters. And I love being able to say, “I’ve been there!”

“Hoo boy,” as Astoria’s grandfather from Maine would say.

She’s so insufferable, and I did laugh at the part where she was complaining about the Dips being friends and commenting on each others’ social media.

But the drama is good, so now I’m invested.

Loving this so far!! Super cute and fun. And it’s really quick, so it’s perfect for this slump I’m in

I’m adjusting to this iteration of Faerie versus Emily Wilde’s, but it’s fun to be back! Also, I think Jude actually underreacted to Taryn sitting in the house when she got home!

Oh, so much has happened. I choked up. I giggled. Everyone’s happy for now BUT there’s still a good chunk of the book left, so something has to go awry. I’m on the edge of my seat

Guys, I’m so sorry I haven’t been updating at all. I’ve been reading and immediately falling asleep. But the book is so good so far. Emily is just as clever as ever, and Wendell is just as sweet. I love that the author is exploring new depths to Emily’s character. Anyway, I don’t really want this book to end please don’t make me say goodbye 😭

The beginning of the end ☹️ lowkenuinely so sad but I’m ready to be with my favorite characters again. HOWEVER, I’ve already squealed and giggled maybe six times so I’m content for now!
