Definitely some Kate Atkinson Life After Life vibes in this one. Also, reminds me a bit of the movie Sliding Doors. But still really original as a book--it's not a copycat of either of these. Interesting concept. The domestic violence is tough, though. Some scenes made my heart pound with fear even though these experiences are so foreign to me.

There are too few pages left for me to get the answers I want and I’m afraid I’m going to be so frustrated by the lack of closure.

This book is dark and strange.

That Cathy/Kate woman is pure evil.

At this point it feels like people are just taking turns beating the absolute mess out of one another.
