It feels wrong to even write this but I decided not to finish this one right now eitherrr. What’s wrong with me/it?? Ugh I’m going to blame age again. I just feel so far away from college. But since everyone is always raving about this book I guess maybe I’ll give another try later in the year? Idk we’ll see!

Sadly I didn’t want to force myself to finish this book. It just didn’t catch my attention enough and I think I found the characters to young to find them relatable. Sigh, it’s a shame because I was really looking forward to a hockey romance.

This books is unlike anything I’ve ever read before. The pace is easy going but full of intrigue! I played D&D before and I’ve always loved the idea of what happens after and this books gives me that.

Nooow I’m hoping for some falling in love!

So far so good!! I’m enjoying the world building and looking forward to learning more about how magic works.

One of my favorite things in magical worlds is this notion of “The Sight.” I feel like it’s something that lots of people have thought about: what if there was more to the world than meets the eye?

It’s fun to follow as Ford answers that question with NYC as the backdrop.
