What a lovely love letter to Buffy The Vampire Slayer

Oh man, the feeling of tamping down any feelings to assure your children is so real.

I get that they are focusing on the investigators instead of the crime.... but i can't believe there aren't satiny pages with crime photos or a digital murder board or the zillow of the house smackdab in the middle of this book. Didn't realize I had taken those for granted.

Finally getting into this book (don't hate-- I've just been distracted by all the metaphors.)

Sign me up for Wreck Rummage. I started making ice cream from scratch earlier this fall and am probably going to tackle this at some point. Cookie dough, walnuts, cake batter, dark chocolate nuggets.

Recommended by Michelle after she and Cassi loved it.
