This is a wonderful experience!

I keep hearing how good this is, so I am diving in!

I'm liking this book. It appears to my better qualities. Lately, I am finding it difficult to read. I'm getting older. My eyesight is getting worse. I'm going to have to start reading only one book at a time.

I know this story. My mother and grandmother used to tell me about every misery which could in any way reflect upon whatever was going on in my life.
I'm not even sure if I am going to finish this. I'm finding it much less horrifying than the tales of those two women. We will see, but for the moment it is on the way back burner.

My goodness!! What an awesome journey. It is 3:29 a.m. and yet I am willing to go on forward if only there were more pages. This is a solitary story. It grabbed me so tightly from the beginning and carried me along with The Hawk as he moved into life, alone and alien. I can't tell you what it is about, I can't tell you what happened. He had the task of being and he did an extraordinary job of it.

I'm loving this. I started it twice, enjoyed the first few pages, lost interest. But this time I decided to give it a fair chance and I am enthralled!

I'm just starting. I enjoy Kate Morton and am hoping for good things! I'm reading several books on several kindles and a real live book, OVE, as well. That one is really hard because the print is so small. I think I'm going to be in kindle for all my reading. I do love the feel of the real thing, but am so glad that I can still read. As a child, my fear was that I would die before reading all the good books.

I'm having trouble finishing this book. I really wanted to read it, but am finding it a bit obvious and even boring. Wish the characters would move forward. Time passes and they don't. Don't anything. Stagnant. I'm going to keep slogging through the mud and/or snow for a bit longer. With all due haste.

I'm enjoying this. It does make me bundle up. It's a good story with very interesting characters.

It's a busy time. I'm going slowly on all my books. I have several going. As for this one, I'm still hoping to get involved with the characters more, but it's early.

So far so good. I have to get the cast straightened out. I wonder sometimes if I should only read one book at a time. But no. That is just not me.

Im really enjoying this story. Maybe partly because I always wanted a sister. This is a good read out in the sunshine while getting my Vitamin D or whatever. One sister lost and the other looking. .

I'm hoping to find this impossible to put down. I'm not a mystery reader, but enjoy a good what-the-hell?? now and then.

Not too bad. A little predictable now and then, but enjoyable. I'm a fan of stories about the people who were here through the times before me. I like the real life aspect of this, real people feel. It's about a young woman who rather fell into the role of midwife in a rural mining town. Written from her aspect it is interesting and informative. I enjoyed it.

Each lives in their time, but are real people, who act as they must but their thoughts belong to themselves.
