I’m not digging this book but I don’t want to DNF it

Nelle is for half of the book a mystery and unreadable for Seerin…then she “was always easy to read”…… right

How on earth do Nelle know what silk is?!?!

I barely began the book and I’m already skipping pages…Victorian setting? I think not

THEY ARE IN AN HURRY AND SHE HAS TIME FOR FUCKING BRUSHING HER TEETH, COME OONNNN

I do have some problems with this book
🦇 The MFC is nineteen years old, I did hope she would have been older, alas another teen
🦇 I’m half way through the book and there hasn’t been a flicker of revelation yet
🦇 The MMC had a abrupt change in character and began liking the MFC without single reasonable explanation
