The book does a good job of making me feel like I know the characters and that their betrayal is my betrayal. The story moves extremely slowly but it’s not really a bad thing.

The book is a little confusing. It’s very descriptive which is nice but there are no quotation marks. I don’t mind this too much but it can make it hard to understand.

I like the book a lot.

There was a gross section where Tom peed on the ground and used the mud for his open wound lol. Very visceral.
