I did not judge this book by its cover, but by its title. I went to Barnes and Noble to buy Nick Cutter’s other book, The Troop, but I ended up getting this instead.
It’s definitely taking a long time to build up, but I think that this author has an old-school style of horror with the suspense he builds up along the way. I hope I finish it.
