The lack of labeled chapters through me for a loop as i was "only going to read one chapter" while I rocked my child to sleep....
The sass, the humor, the Buddy the Elf of it all is really making this fun.

The random steamy scenes or illuding to intimate scenes kind of throws me off. Maybe that's the lack of "spicy" books I've been reading but some just feel oddly placed. I can understand the purpose for some but not others.

Also got twilight "what am I? say it bella" vibes from one bit of dialogue and that made me chuckle a bit.

All in all, enjoying the story, characters, and writing.
