DNF. 1/5 stars. I tried so hard but could not finish this book. Found the plot and characters cringey and unbearable and thought it was dragged out unnecessarily. Reading it has put me in a reading slump 😿

The characters in this book were super disturbing, loved the plot, the characters lives were explained very deeply and it felt like a movie. Towards the end the twists confused me but still really enjoyed the ending.

3.75 stars. I really enjoyed the setting of this book, and the characters had a lot of depth. The plot was interesting and I enjoyed how we got to see the mystery as well as the family dynamics. Although it was quite a slow read and didn’t keep me on the edge of my seat like the other Jane Harper books have.
