Holy cow…I’m loving this book so far!!! Everything I love in a book: family secrets, lost items, mystery, pure romance, hidden clues & beautiful writing!

I heard good things about this book then I went to the GoodReads reviews after it came off hold on Libby. Either people love it or hate it. With so many low reviews I was weary to read it but so far I’m in the LOVE camp!

Should I keep going? I’m not connecting with the book but it’s come highly recommended…

So far, super adorable!

The FMC narrator…was a choice. She has an accent from the New England area, maybe NY or Boston? I can’t place it, but I’m getting use to it. I don’t read fantasy or romantasy very often & I have no idea how it got on my Libby holds but I’m so glad I did! This book snagged my attention from the first 5 min. Feels like I’ve only been reading for 2hrs, not 6hrs! A sign of a great story!

50% through & I love it! Can’t put it down!

Love it so far! I have a feeling this might be a 5⭐️ read! Hooked immediately!

I started the book this morning & I can’t put it down. Like, I’m sure I’ll be up late tonight. It’s been a while since I’ve been this engrossed in a book. This is my first book by this author & I can’t wait to read more!

This is such a weird plot to explain to people on what I am reading but it is Soooo good!!! On chapter 16 :)

I’m reading this book so slowly because I want to cherish each word. Dang, Charmaine Wilkerson is an amazing author!

Listening to this book 10 min a week when I drive my boys to school on Fridays. We have been reading this book since August, lol!

I have no idea what is going on. I’m totally lost & im not sure how this book got such great ratings. Will it get better?

This book is dragggging! I am 8.5 hours in so I don’t want to DNF it. I just increased the speed on the audiobook to make the next 5+ hours of book left go faster! This is such a cute book but it’s waaaaaay longer than it needs to be!

Great book so far!

16% read, which is 2:19 with 12:06 hours to go! The book hasn’t grabbed me yet. This is the fourth book in a row that has been hard for me to get into. I DNF the other three but I’m determined to finish this one. This book has an unique plot & has some good reviews so I’m looking forward to finishing it :)

Almost 1/2 way through it. I’m tabbing & annotating the book so it will take me longer to finish…maybe. The book is so funny that I’m devouring it as fast as my little eyes can read while highlighting, underlining, writing notes in the margins, and adding my color coded tabs to the book!

When they say check the triggers, they are NOT joking! MAJOR SA,torture, trafficking triggers! But the writing is so good! The pacing, mystery, character development, the complexity of the relationship between two estranged sisters, the tiny drops of twists & clues keep you addicted to reading! WOW!

I am 10 hours through the audio book but only 50% through the book. This is the worst & best book I’ve read.

Really good so far

I can’t put this one down! My favorite book by far & I haven’t even finished it! 4 hours left!
