Definitiv ein witziges Kinderbuch, aber meinen Humor trifft es nicht (mehr).

Vergessen den Fortschritt anzugeben ...

Ich habe so meine Schwierigkeiten mit dem Buch. Zwischen den normalen Handlungssträngen gibt es immer wieder Rückblenden, die mich eher stören als dass sie helfen. Sie unterbrechen den Erzählfluss, knallen einen mit Hintergrundinformationen zu die anscheinend anders nicht unterzubringen waren und sind trotzdem meist recht langweilig :/
Ich gebe zu ich überfliege diese Rückblenden fast nur noch :S

I like the book so far. It is the first Shadowrun Novel I am reading and I think I can keep up fine even with little knowledge of the lore beforehand.
I kind of like Mr. Kincaid. He seems to be some kind of Icarus. Flew too high to the sun and made a crash landing. His backstory is only revealed in tiny pieces

I am so lost... I am reading it in German and thought it might be a translation problem, but with the English edition it is even worse. It is rare that I find a translation to be better than the original. So many names and terms that are not in the least explained or put into context.
