Dnf for now. I can’t handle any more rich entitled fuckboys. We need to stop writing books with the same one dimensional men.

I’m 15 pages into this book and already he’s an absurdly ridiculous slut of a man with more money and women to his name than decency and she’s an uptight prude down on her luck. Great. I feel like I’ve read the is book 3,000 times before already and that’s disappointing because I was looking forward to this new series set in NY.

The tedium from early on has sadly not abated. I’m only halfway through and bored.

Tbh the millennial vs gen-z banter is already getting tedious. No one who is 35 in the year 2026 walks around with a pen and paper and goes out without a phone. I’m not ready to bail yet but if this keeps up I might just do so out of spite and solidarity with my fellow millennials

Let’s see if Maggie can make the leap from fantasy/pnr to contemporary with the same success

This got spicier and twistier than I imagined and I’m loving everything about it.

I think this landed on my desk bc of all the World Cup coverage, and I’m so here for it.

This book has no business being as hilarious as it is.

I wish this book followed the others in the series and was written entirely from mmc pov. I really dislike the fmc and she’s killing this book for me.

So he’s kind of a psychopath. I think I like it.

I don’t think I’ve been this excited to read a book in a loooong time.
