Finally reading the third book in Pullman's His Dark Materials series (read the first two books years ago and loved them, but never continued with the third). Very good so far, love the intelligent characters and the imaginative worldbuilding.

Just started my 3rd read of this brilliant retelling of Harry Potter, plan to finish it around the time the final chapter is published next Saturday. The opening chapters remain tremendous fun, immediately sucked me in again.
