This is slowly starting to drag. The author's attempt at political conflict just falls flat due to the lack of character growth. I'm holding on to a faint hope that these last dozen chapters will be enough space for the book to pull off a Korbutz Flip and make Kehera an interesting character for once.

Started reading on Jan 3rd 2023.

Upon arriving in Ellesmera, Eragon is now under the training/tutelage of Oromis. Meanwhile back in the valley, an unexpected assault on the village resulted in Roran assuming leadership, and he along with those left must plot their next step.

The plot's pacing seemed to slow down at this point of the book with few major progression. May have to temporarily shelf this one for other shorter books.
