I don’t know if I’ll ever come back to this book- it’s not bad by any means. It just didn’t grab my attention and make me want to find out what happens next

Oh lord help me- I’m struggling to get through this, I guess I should have taken breaks between each book in the series? Because now I’m feeling burnt out with Cinder and her crew 💔

It feels very much like I picked up a book in the middle of a series- or that I started reading halfway through this book. I know sometimes the introduction or lead in for a novel can feel long- but I very much feel lost right now. I’m sure I’ll learn more as the book goes on….but I’m feeling quite lost for chapter 4…

Was this written by a man? Felt like it.

Oh look another human that’s the only salvation of the fae. I don’t think this is the best version of this story line. However it is one of the spiciest versions of this story line- so if that’s what you’re looking for, dive in. For me personally? Ehhh- too much back and forth on the feelings and conflicting character choices and actions. As in “I would never do that thing” immediately does the thing.
