I've really been enjoying get through this slowly. I haven't finished a book yet in 2025 (i am in grad school so i think its okay). Han hits a lot of sore spots in his writing. Reading through this hurts, but in the way that you know it is good for you.

ive picked this up and put it down so many times. never from a lack of love! i enjoy the thoughts on translation and colonialism and empire so so much, i just need time to sit with it
