I couldn’t put it down (it’s 5am). Liking it a lot, love the writing style but maybe could do with some more world building earlier in the book.

I am really enjoying Gallagher’s tone of writing. It’s descriptive and gripping but littered with a bit of humour - especially Rein’s italicised little quips. It makes for enjoyable and easy reading in my opinion (I can say this pretty confidently, given I’m smiling at my kindle while reading at 3am).

I’m feeling really hooked! The story is moving a bit faster than I expected but I’m a big fan of setting the scene and getting to the action, so this works for me. Really excited to keep reading!

I’m enjoying the book so far - not sure how I feel about the time skip as I actually had to go back from chapter 12 to 11 to see if I’d missed something. The age gap relationship feels icky but I do think it’s supposed to.
