This is the kind of book i can’t put it down. So good I’ve read it at red lights. Hoping it doesn’t have a crash ending like book 1 did for me lol

Oh. My. God. Plot twist. Kind of saw it coming but also forgot about the small tidbit earlier on that foreshadowed. This book is incredible.

I love a friends to lovers book. This is sucking me in but goodness, i reallly want Lia & Breaker to get with it and get together. Almost 40% in and they’re both feeling things but apparently oblivious gahhhh 😂

Ok. So things are linking up. Pearl is Smiths sister (he’s from book 2) and Ashe is Dylan’s(from book 1) roommate. And we know from book 2 that Pearl has been through some extremely traumatic shit.
Also- Ashe was in school for premed but his after storyline he’s a detective. Hmmmmmm

Ok- Part 1 of the book had me sucked in. Hooked. Was really sad when Whitney went to travel nursing and felt that sting. Part 2- I’m not enjoying this. It’s almost overkill with how much he is spoiling her. Like this is so new and he’s offering to buy her a house in Napa if she falls in love with it. Like what?! Just laying it on so thick that it’s not enjoyable right now lol

This book is so well written so far. And completely captivating. I can’t stop reading. Each chapter leaves me wanting to keep going to find out more. Really enjoying and praying i don’t get let down here

I’m not 100% sure what’s going on with Dylan coming and going. I almost get the vibe that he’s passed and she’s hallucinating. Following rituals of how she prepares to end her night so she will see him in her head or dreams. But I’m not sure. Definitely keeping me engaged.

Bye. This book sucked me in before 10%. And it’s freaking magic by 20%. Elsie has a way of writing so beautifully that you get sucked into the story. You instantly click with the characters. Can feel the storyline. I needed this in a book after the last read I had! I just feel a 5 star rating brewing.

I am pushing through so hard. There is zero plot. It’s so many chapters that have no meaning. It’s just mundane daily details that dont seem to mean anything for the story. Maybe it will all come together in the end. But i dont see how random stories about sledding and hanging out with friends pertain to Finn & Autumns story. This is a drag so far.

Why is it that authors give us soooo much extra words that don’t pertain at all to the dang story?? Like all this stuff with her stair friends and them being weird. Let’s get to more of Finn and Autumn.

It’s a lot of the same of Shannon being meek and Johnny reassuring her. They’re not supposed to be together but they love each other.
