A bit annoyed about how this person just brushes over someone having ADHD or Autism based on how much they fidget etc clearly having internalised ableism. Took me ages to convince a psych friend she should consider a dx of audhd and now I understand why. Not on, waiting for the author to redeem themselves..

On the safeguarding issue: so whilst what Emma says may be true for her, true safeguarding doesn’t assume parents exaggerate or that it’s a safeguarding issue - but sometimes parental struggle whilst understandable can harm a child and present through multiple presentations. And child harm is NOT rare. A bit unhappy with this misinfo even if a quote.
