Slow start, but written well and getting more intriguing.

I’m on the struggle bus, omg. Haven’t been reading because I can’t bring myself to read thjs. I don’t know if I can continue with the same old sh*t over and over. Literally no character development or growth, writing is repetitive & a bit boring, I’m waiting for something actually interesting to happen & I’ve still got 500 pages to go 😩

My god, it’s a hard book to read - there’s something in the writing style that just over complicates everything, which in turn is really impacting my imagination and visualising scenes. The story is quite good so I’ll finish it, but it feels pretentious
