So good. Tevis' style of writing each possible move that the protagonist, Beth Harmon, and her varying opponents make on the chess board accurately describes how epic and fun any one game of chess can be. The interesting universe this book is set in with chess tournaments, drugs, alcohol, sex, and school make this book great even when Beth is not playing chess.

Great book about what’s it like to work in the video game industry. This book makes me realize I took the hard work put into making a video game for granted. Human beings put massive amounts of time and energy under intense deadlines to make the pixels you play with work on computers and video game consoles.

Damn. I just finished Chapter 17 where Sonny beats up the wifebeater, POS son-in-law that is Carlo Rizzi. It's one of the best parts of the movie. I'm glad the version in the book lived up to my own self-made hype.

So far, I have to say The Godfather by Mario Puzo is 100% a classic American novel. I love how it expands on plot points that were in the amazing films that are The Godfather and The Godfather Part II.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 5 - Golden Wind is excellent. It’s one of the most enjoyable, well-written, and beautifully drawn works of fiction I’ve ever had the pleasure of consuming.

Reading the manga and/or watching the 2018-2019 animated adaptation makes me feel happy, sad, and more. I’m so glad I started this series this year!

I like how Zakaria uses quotes from internationally recognized and trusted medical organizations, such as the WHO, CDC, and FDA for quoted information available to the public or can be found if you google it or YouTube it from international organizations or international political events.

I’m on page 30 and I think it’s a great book so far that is about the international community’s response to covid-19 in 2020, it’s foreseeable aftereffects on humans around the world after being inside for a year or so with a virus that had no cure.

“Ten Lessons for a Post-Pandemic World” by Fareed Zakaria is timeless, well-written, informative reminder me that we really are living in a first of its kind pandemic.
