This is my favorite book on World War II. I have done some research on Mussolini, the Holocaust, the RAF, and Russia, but the war in the Pacific is the one area I have yet to see. It's quite amazing that the Japanese were able to dig out all those tunnels in the so that their soldiers could annihilate the U.S. Marines. When you read about the stories of the flag raisers, you get a sense of how terrible WWII was.

A great book about a great politician. I have really loved this book so far.

This is a great book so far. It describes how Mussolini changed Rome for the better and explains a lot about Mussolini. Up until now I have not learned very much about Mussolini, as that is one of the time periods I tend to neglect, and I am having a great time accessing it through my favorite city's history. I agree that this book isn't the most organized in the world, but it is still a good read for history buffs.

Great so far. The book really explains the politics of the American Revolution in depth.
