What the heck could the rest of this book be about???

The author’s incorporation of the world building is done in a way that makes sense. It’s not just plopped in. There’s background as to how it happens — the main character wanted to be a scribe, hence all the knowledge. It just makes sense which is good.

This book is heavy…

It took me almost an hour to read 17 pages. Granted it’s my bedtime, but still… the words are small and the pages are big😩. Buuuuuuuuuuut, I love it so far. The writing is *mwah* chefs kiss — and we all know (maybe not, lol) that writing makes or breaks a book for me. I have a good feeling about this one.

Ngl I can’t wait till I’m done with this one. It’s gonna get a 2 or 3 stars.

Damn. My stomach fell into a pit. That was crazy.
