The book is good and heart-warming but taking a while to get through.

So good. So excited to be jumping back into this series and spending time with the characters again. I forgot how invested in them I was since the last book (read it during the fall) but since I took a break from the series I couldn’t wait to start back!

SO GOOD SO FAR 🖤

Good so far. Different from what I am used to. Much better than the last book I read which I DNF’d.

Started this book last year or year before, or maybe even the year before that! I have a few other books that are lined up before this one. (The Baker’s Secret, All That Glitters, and probably a psychological thriller, [all while reading The Clan of the Cave Bear intermittently], then I want to jump back into this one [probably some time in the spring/on my spring TBR])

Just started this one!

Picked this book back up to read intermittently ~ Been reading consistently and just a little bit every day while I read other books. Considering just reading it to where I have it tabbed before winter ends, then the other tabbed section in the next season, and working through it that way.

Lovely, escapist fantasy read about prehistoric times! I have others like this I want to read , too.

Struggling to get through this book…..

The story itself is somewhat charming, but there’s things about the writing style that I don’t care for. For one, I’m halfway through the book and I feel like I barely know the characters. I’m not connecting with any of them. There’s not a lot going on but I want to know how it ends so I’ve continued reading. All in all, a boring read.

A little slow going but not awful.

In the mood for something like this. Seen good reviews so far.
