First 104 pages and holy sh*t thats just the Introduction, Translator's Note, and Maps.
I understand putting the Translator's Note and the Maps at the front of the book. But the Introduction reveals so much about the story that even though I don't live under a rock and have some familiarity already, it still felt like a lot of the story was spoiled.
Tomorrow, on page 105, I will start reading the actual Odyssey.

I'm torn. I admit I bought this because it was a clearance book and the cover is beautiful.
It's a short book and I have quickly gotten nearly halfway through it, but.... meh. Not sure whether to push through just to finish or drop it.

This book is unlocking so many detailed memories. It is Gen X nostalgia gold.

This book is 206 pages long. A quick word search confirms the word "really" is used 266 times.

Also, I'd like the author to know that adoptive parents are real parents. Really, really real. Please stop saying we aren't.

Thank goodness this is a series! I thought it was a standalone and was all ready to gripe about some of the issues left unresolved. But there are more books - Yay!
