Its not meant to be that scary... i think, but here we are putting the book down (but only for a little while)...

How?! How do we always start at such a powerful place.... Safe to say I'm not reading tonight.

Im here updating my progress, procrastinating reading. Its one of those books that just has so much to process and think about that i need to stop every few pages....

Excuse me? Am I sucked in now? Will I be up all night? The answer is yes. What a powerful start omg.

Ask and you shall receive! Spent time asking for a less predictable plot than what I've been reading lately, and here we are. Im sucked in... I stayed up reading till the wee hours this morning,which I haven't done in years.

So far, the characters compliment each other so well, which adds to the emotional depth and worl building so far. I'd love to know more about the magic system... but time will tell 🤞
