Listening to Kronos Quartet while reading this and I must say it is a slightly life altering experience. Something in this book speaks to me and I don’t know what to make of that. Perhaps not in a very intellectual way - but in a more raw sense that I rarely experience any longer from «random» reads

What a different Rooney ! Not sure if I’m into it yet, but shall see if this style grows on me.

Remimds me of how my short stories that I write in the notebook app on my phone sometimes sound. Disheveled, unorganized and lousy… attempting to be quirky and unapologetically provocative. So far it ends up being too much too early.
