i kind of hate all of the characters and also literally nothing is happening? i will not dnf bc i’m really bad at doing that, but i am gonna speed run the rest of this because i don’t really have any interest in it

i kinda hate that she won 2/3 matches, it really really does not make sense. i understand that she’s the main character, but it makes no sense that she would beat people in combat when she has been training for a week and they have been training their whole lives. in my mind, there’s not really anything she should be able to do that would make her win.

i’m in the middle of chapter 47 and hate it so much, why are they fighting over a boy!! it’s literally so ridiculous, i’m skipping through parts of it

chapter 65, with manon calling the crochans to war, was my favorite chapter of this entire series. i had chills.

i HATE when characters say “don’t fall in love with me” and “i don’t believe in love” UGH

honestly not quite as interesting or fast paced as i wanted so far. also im listening to the audiobook and the very fake slight southern accent the narrator is putting on sometimes is just a little bothersome.

i’m loving this so much, i can’t stop thinking about it

update: why do people in these books always assume that nobody could love them and that everyone hates them i don’t understand pls help me understand it’s not fun anymore!!!!
