Just cried

Sadly didn’t reach my 2024 reading goal :/

I’m a little disappointed in the author for having so many names to choose from but settling on “Carly” and “Cathy” for the two main characters in the stories. Those names are too similar and I found it frustrating to get used to it being Carly in a different story.

Just finished “That Wintry Feeling”, and not going to lie I was really worried about their marriage. Growing up I never witnessed a healthy marriage therefore it destroyed my hopes of the whole action, but I’m pleased with how their story ended. It’s a beautiful, unexpected happy relationship that blossomed out of heartbreak on both sides.

Doesn’t seem like my preferred style in writing (I say this because that’s how I get captivated), however I’m giving it a try.
