I’m struggling with the cheesy Hallmark Movie vibe. Is it just me? It’s not a bad read, but I definitely wasn’t expecting the storyline to read like Hallmark had solicited the author. I’m finishing it, however it’s pretty formulaic.

Crystal is starting The Library Book

I tried the audio first. Good gosh was it hard. The narrator was monotoned. I grew tired just during the preface. I sincerely had to stop. I’m now reading it and the factual background is fascinating, albeit foreshadowing, and so disheartening. Harry Peaks is forever my nemesis.
