This book is kinda losing me, I felt like I absorbed minimal words for like the past 50 pgs. I could not tell you what I just read.

:0 I thought this was YA and was definitely not expecting that but also......... finally! I'm also defo rereading the scene tomorrow 👀 I think I have a new hyperfixation.

I am loving this book so far though, I hope it wins best novel in the Nebula Awards tonight. Kuang deserves it.

I'm loving the concept so far!

Her writing style for this one is definitely different than for Poppy War, it makes sense because they're different types of stories but, it's still interesting nonetheless.

She did such a good job at making Prof. Lovell hateable.

There is absolutely 0 way Dante is dead. I have proclaimed him as legend and am sticking to that claim. Dante is Legend. Also, we haven't really heard much of anyone other than Scarlett playing the game which is weird??? I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THAT JULIAN HAS DARK HAIR. HE GIVES OFF BLONDE VIBES. THAT IS A BLONDE MAN.

I know that they're trying to convince us that Julian is Legend and Dantes fiance cheated on him with Legend or whatever but there's no way. THERES NO WAY! I KNOW THE STORY DOESNT MATCH BUT...... DANTE. IS. LEGEND. I'm fully convinced.

I do believe that him and Julian know each other though

Dante is so 100% the master caraval guy. I know that I've literally had only 3 (?) Pages with him but..... there's no way NO WAY he isn't the Master Caraval dude. Also, what's up with Julian?

I absolutely hate her writing style so far but, I'm so close to dnfing but I heard from a friend that the story is great the writings bad and if I get past that it'll be fun.

Strange book concept, but enjoyable. Definitely a YA plot. By favorite brothers are in order of Xander, Greyson, and then Nash and Jameson are tied cause I don't have much of an opinion. Why the hell did Avery think that was a good idea? THEORY (maybe spoiler depending on what you consider spoilers) I 100% think that Harry is Tobias. I also think that Toby is alive.

I'm in such a bad slump that I wanna start a new book but at the same time I wanna finish this one. Also, while it's good, it's been awhile since I read the first book and they're bringing back characters that I cannot for the life if me remember who they are. I need to get better at names, I never remember them.

I'm in too much of a reading slump and finals have me in a chokehold
