This is fun. I’m having fun. The reason she’s not on speaking terms with her parents is bullshit and there are SO many similes but I’m having fun.

This author LOVES her similes and metaphors. She kisses them on the lips and makes sweet sweet love to them every night.

Yessss just what I needed after mixed signals. Only cringed a bit in the first 100 pages! And they’re actual haters (to lovers)! Hallelujah.

This book is making me question if I ever understood anything that I ever read. Do I have a modicum of reading comprehension? I genuinely can’t tell anymore.

I understand that this is a satire, but must the writing be this disjointed. Why are there random sentences everywhere that go nowhere. I dunno if I’m missing something deeper or if this is just a really strange writing style I need to get used to.

Why are characters in a NOVEL of FAKE IMAGINARY FICTION talking abt current events from the real world 😭 within the first 17 pages we’ve already mentioned the pandemic, the crises in Ukraine and Israel, and the presidential election. like damn can we have some escapism PLEASE
