I read Howard Fast’s The Jews, Story of a People many years ago. If my memory is right … as I read Lewis Briwne’s version, I have this feeling that Howard Fast is fairly more understanding of the Jews. Browne is more direct. That is when the hubby tells me that Fast, is after all a Jew. But then Browne is a rabbi who passed away at the age of 51 due to poisoning and I wonder ……..
