Maddy is reading My Husband's Wife

This book had more twists and turns than a roller coaster. I couldn't put it down. It deals with a lot of different, and important issues, and there are elements that many can relate to. The story is told by Lily, the husband's wife in question, interspersed with chapters about, but not in the voice of Carla who is a child she meets at the beginning of her marriage. It was gritty in places without being gory.
