Ok, I'm glad I pushed through that first chapter because now I can't take my nose out of this book!

So sooo good. This book is honestly a fast read page turner, it's only taking me this long to finish since I'm reading it with a friend so we're having to wait on each other. So fucking sad, but Radclyffe Hall's writing style is so poetic...!!!

Very hard to put down, and asks a lot of questions we all should be asking ourselves about gender, how society views it, how it’s used to hold/suppress power. Parts feel like a time capsule, being written in the 90s it reflects what the culture was like then and how small our community was. We are still dealing with a lot of the same issues today. History will repeat until we learn. A must read for everyone imo.

Great so far! Although it focuses a lot more on older married couples than I thought it was going to.

I have mixed feelings about this book so far. I do like that it recognizes a specific neurodivergent experience. I have been made aware that there is some controversy about whether or not HSP is just autism wrapped in a different package, and how it is very similar to the experiences and symptoms of what people are labeling today as “female autism.” And I am not liking the comparison to infants.

So far so good! Trying to get back into Teen Fictions as an adult has been trying because sometimes the writing feels immature or is just plain bad, but the writing here is attention grabbing, and very unique as well! I like the break up of the chapters, I think their short lengths help keep my short attention span.

Okay so far. Much gorier than I expected! The designs of the ghosts are pretty cool. The VCR tape one is maybe my favorite. Very interesting concept of a story but I think it could have been written/put together better. Feels a bit cheesy, not as developed as it maybe could be? Feels like something I would've written in high school.
