Not sure if I’m interested in the story premise. Part 1 of 4 is in the 3rd person and that kind of kills me.

Wade is a loser. He sucks so much. I have zero reason to cheer for him. So much 80’s nonsense, I’m on chapter 8. Get on with it already. The little argument in the basement hangout gives real “homeschooled” vibes — that alone made me want to stop. Hope it gets better—new genre, topic. Let’s see what happens

I do enjoy the story but have I been reading this book forever? When does it end?
