won’t lie, i am mildly bored

so. this book is due back at the library by midnight. lets see how much damage i can do in 12 hours.

i’ve had to google 4 words for their definitions. i am by no means stupid and can usually use context clues. this is wack.

compared to my recent reads, this is pure bliss

i can predicted the ending from page 5, but i deserve to read a silly little romance! (i say this about every romance)

holy shit black bargain was good. that’s exactly the kind of stuff that keeps my attention ugh i loved it. it kinda reminded me of bellwether. i miss bellwether 3

ok i’ve read a few more but lemme just say “a visit” by shirley jackson goes SO hard. i loved that so so much. i absolutely love that i have no clue what’s going on but at the same time i have so many theories. also im a sucker for bright descriptions and imagery so this kind of horror works very well for me!

ok i’ve now also read long distance call, the girl with the hungry eyes, and demon! i loooooved demon. like i actually intensely hated reading it because it made me feel so paranoid but it was so so so well done

so far ive read call of cthulu, the lonesome place, and the fog horn. i absolutely LOVED the fog horn. it didn’t necessarily scare me but made me sad beyond belief in a way i didn’t know i could feel.
