I have not read ALL vampire fiction, but I've read enough to confidently say that Zero is easily one of the top five douchebag vampires ever. Sadly, his douchey life story is going on for too long considering he's a character we haven't heard much about in the two previous books (unlike Lestat in his eponymous book, which Interview laid out. This just feels like being stuck listening to some edgelord's podcast
