Came to this to read “blow up” because I like the Antonioni film but that story was a miss for me

Anecdotally funny story

>Started this at Sam’s
>left copy there
>bought copy in Minneapolis a month later
>abby and I kayak 8 miles and it gets waterlogged
>I leave it at Abby’s house forever
>I go to the bookstore in lake forest to buy something I actually want to read (Tree of Smoke or a collection of Joy Williams stories) but it’s a terrible bookstore so they have nothing
>I get the corrections again

I have been reading the woke odyssey with my tenth graders for a month now. One and half weeks left. I actually love the Odyssey and this unit but I have such mixed feelings about Wilson’s translation!
