I am devouring this book! I just can't seem to stop reading it. It's beautiful.
The main message, the grief themes, of the book are poetic, tragic, and so well done.

I never I'd say this but accounting is kinda hot!! The plot is everything, I'm SO invested. I wake up thinking about what I'm going to find out today, it's so juicy.
My brain when I'm reading TTBC: Yeah, girl, spill that tea.
Ugh, Baru is ingenious, she's brilliant, she's impressive, and incredibly perceptive and astute.

Ugh 😤 colonization is happening... it's not like I'm incredibly invested in Baru and her wonderful family already. So you know it's not gut-wrenching at all reading they were separated and that they're hurting from a big major loss or anything like that... I'm totally fine 😭

"Unrelated" TMI: I've been emoting hard these days, so the reason I'm bawling my eyes out every few chapters (speacially Adam's POV) is unexpected (?). Could be the tons of stress catching up to me, or 🤷 Idk! I really don't.

I'm half way through and I already want to start the book again!

On hold. Cause my blood keeps boiling up - you know, transphohia on teens 😤. I will most def come back to this one, it did captivate me with the writing and themes. But apparently I'm not in a comfortable space to read memoirs or half-memoirs, specially about a highly mistreated community... ("mistreated" isn't enough to cover it)

How is ut possible that Mayne was able to make it hilarious and also so f*cking sexy!

Oh don't mind me, I'm just close to loosing my mind over how the narrator (Michael Lesley) does the main character's voice ("Ghost") in a tone that he hasn't done yet in any of the audiobooks. It almost sounds like a complete different person 🫠 it all sounds so wonderful 😍

I'm loving the "Wanny" (Wyn+Danny) with Edin+Hunter (I don't have a clue what's their ship name🤔). I love their dynamics!

I'm not even to finish this book and I already want to start all over again! Wolfy & Simon, Simon & Wolfy. They will most definitely be living rent-free till the end of time. C. Rochelle is 🔥! The main characters🫠😍, the world-building, the plot !!!!! Yeeeesh I think this book just ruined me.... 🫣

There's 23 hours of audiobook,!!! I find that this is going to take way too much time to finish (don't get me wrong it's not that bad), it's just drags the narrative and/or descriptions a bit too much than I expected... I still think it was a great decision to listen in Spanish - with the beautiful and harmonious Argentinian accent.
