Slightly different twist to your typical mid-life crisis romance novel. Here it’s a bit of a Hilary Clinton “I knew he was doing me dirty but I had my own dreams to tend to” kick off.

Riveting but a lot of character/perspective shifting to keep track of.

This book did not hook me until the second section. Once the main character time travels, the story really picked up and grabbed my interest. The character prior to this point was really un-relatable.

Paused, too many good others to read. Pretty predictable from the get go. Did enjoy references to other books, and writing is lovely.

Really good so far, the story is much deeper than I thought it would be.

Reading this with my kids, ages 6 and 8, we are all loving the story. It's like Lord of the Rings for young elementary school kids. Some of us have definite ideas for delicious while others just refuse to be pinned down to a single item. Have to credit another book, The Borrower by R Mekkai, currently on my probably won't finish list for bringing us to this gem.

So far, excellent and eye opening.

Needed to take a break from it as It made me feel like a slug chasing it's tale.
