H.M.S. > Recent Status Updates

I read the first chapter after I bought this book at a writers conference, but set it down to finish writing my own. I started over last night and read through the first 9 chapters before I had to go to bed. What an exciting story already filled with twists and turns. Too bad I have to work because I want to sit down and read it until I’m buying the next book, this is so good!

Holy cow! I just read the prologue and I don’t want to go back to work. What an excellent start to this novel!!

I just met the author and started reading. It won’t take me long to read this. I can’t stop turning pages!

Just started listening! I love this series. This will be fun!

Started this late last night without realizing how long it was, but I'm 3/4 of the way through and am surprised at how much I'm enjoying my first Orc romance. I'm trying to read something different and this fits the bill, but it's a fun story! Glad I found it!

Started reading this while at my parents' house last weekend. I had to laugh when the murder victim was named: Mr. Brown!

Fortunately my dad - also Mr. Brown - thought it was funny, too. lol!

Fun story so far!

I really enjoy all the dialogue. It doesn't seem forced, which makes it that much more enjoyable of a read.

I saw this at Barnes & Noble and thought it looked cute. After all - it has fake dating. Can't go wrong with my favorite trope!

Chapter 40 - way to go, Max! It's about darned time!

I’m only 4% into the book (through chapter 2) but I already like the characters and the story so far. Can’t wait to get off work and really delve further into this story!

Just starting this today and I know it’s going to be oh so dark! But - all of Dixon’s books are excellent so a here I go!

I’m listening. This narrator is quite peppy! I feel like I should be bouncing up and down and clapping while I listen!

I know the story will be good since I’ve already listened to the Mohegan U and Bethesda Barracudas series, but the narrator is rather different from what I’m used to.

This is tough to get through. The premise is great and the potential is there, but it's tough to get through. not sure if I'm going to finish.
